Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist – Full-time
A TD Wellness Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist (RDN) shows initiative, a positive attitude, and integrity. Our RDN’s provide nutrition counseling to enhance the health and quality of care for all of our clients, and enhance the TD Wellness reputation.
Qualifications required:
- A Bachelor’s or advanced degree from an ACEND accredited institution with a concentration in nutrition and food science.
- One to two year experience in Motivational Interviewing and other therapeutic modalities.
- Maintain active membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Flexible work hours – 4-8pm weekdays and 9a-3p Saturdays.
- Licensed as a RDN in the state of Georgia.
- Attend local, state, or national nutrition conferences to stay current with the latest and most relevant evidence-based nutrition research.

- Advanced certifications and experiences such as: Obesity, Eating Disorders, Pediatrics, Digestive, Sports Nutrition, Renal, Diabetes, or other.
- Fluency in a second or third language (in addition to English)
Career duties:
- Provide medical nutrition counseling and therapy to TD Wellness clients,
- Initial Consults – 60 to 75 minutes per session
- Follow-up Consults – 45 to 60 minutes per session
- Complete nutritional assessments and charting within the TD Wellness Electronic Health System (EHS)
- Assess and nutrition diagnose for each initial consult using the NCP – ADIME method
- Maintain on-going or all follow-up appointment notes for each client on EHS
- Provide all clients with any additional nutrition and wellness services such as but not limited to:
- Motivational Interviewing and/or only evidence-based therapeutic approaches to enhance client change and outcomes
- Provide individual and personalize meal plans
- Review and analyze food journals and activity journals
- Dietary prescriptions based on medical or nutritional needs
- Fitness review and assessments
- Any additional services TD Wellness offers
- Be available to travel and provide nutritional counseling and services at contracted physician practices or other off-site locations for TD Wellness clients
- Facilitate and lead nutrition and wellness classes, education sessions, workshops, and cooking demos for all TD Wellness clients, including corporate wellness or off-site contracts
- Help develop, update, and maintain any and all TD Wellness education and informational material including but not limited to patient handouts, educational material, meal plans, assessment tools, etc.
- Update EHS document templates to enhance practice and changing needs
- Help with all practice marketing including but not limited to:
- Social Media marketing – posting nutrition and wellness articles, photos, and more to TD Wellness SM accounts, and help enhance TD Wellness brand
- Marketing material creation and development – flyers, brochures, banners, table displays, etc.
- Blogs – Developing and posting nutrition and wellness materials on TD Wellness blog page and connect to all Social Media accounts
- Attend corporate and wellness health fairs as needed
- Attend all office meetings and maintain open lines of communication with supervisor
- Meet with supervisor on a regular basis (weekly or monthly) to enhance nutrition services, updates on clients, and individual and practice quality improvements
- Develop and maintain monthly performance and professional goals
- Attend quarterly performance reviews
- Provide referring physicians and practices patient summary or updates, and help maintain strong communication and continued client referrals to TD Wellness
- Maintain licensure in good standing and keep current all necessary CEUs as required Georgia
- Maintain dietetic registration in good standing and keep current all necessary CEUs as required by CDR
- Maintain a strong work ethic, be on time, dress professionally, and enhance client outcomes
- Take initiative with ideas and suggestions, be flexible with schedule, and work with integrity!
